3 What should be paid attention to when installing oil seals?

1. When assembling the oil seal, pay attention to the spring clamping force of the oil seal

2. No scratches or burrs are allowed on the assembly part

3. Before assembling the oil seal, carefully clean the shaft and cavity, and apply a layer of grease to prevent the wear of the lip when installing the oil seal

4. Check whether the sealing lip of the oil seal is damaged or deformed? At the same time, check whether the spring of the oil seal has fallen off?

5. Use the installation tools correctly to protect the oil seal lip from damage

6. When the oil seal enters the cavity, it should be carried out with uniform pressure. Be careful not to press it into the inner control at an angle, otherwise it will cause the oil seal to deform and cause leakage

7. Pay attention to the installation direction during assembly. When an inner seal is required, the side with the self-tightening spring faces inward and the dust lip faces outward
